As the appointed interior designer for a global beverage client’s office refresh, Axis Environments developed a scheme that respected the building’s heritage, architectural details and distinctive features. A restrained, warm palette across furniture and finishes introduced a contemporary feel while allowing the character of the existing space to remain central to the design.

A Considered Palette of Materials

Mottled taupe carpet tiles brought warmth and subtle texture to the main workspaces, transitioning to light, Scandinavian-inspired LVT flooring in adjoining areas. The neutral flooring palette created visual continuity across the building’s varying floor levels, helping the spaces feel connected.

A Comprehensive Workplace Refresh

The refurbishment included new flooring, redecoration, acoustic enhancements, upgraded teapoint facilities, refreshed washrooms, air conditioning improvements and a carefully selected furniture package.

Budget informed decisions throughout, with investment focused on changes that would offer lasting value while remaining sympathetic to the building’s architectural heritage.

Contemporary Comfort, Retained Character

The completed workplace feels welcoming, functional and contemporary, with improved facilities that support everyday use. Thoughtful material choices and careful attention to the existing architecture preserve the distinctive character that makes the building unique.
